Obama still fighting for the American middle class

Tonight the President, had his first State of the Union address.

He first started the speech with the problems of the lack of jobs in this country. He goes on to say he has never been so hopeful about America's future as he is tonight.

It is time we get a government that matches our needs.

We all hated the bank bail out! There was no disagreement between the parties on the hatred of this bail out. We have recovered most but not all the money we spent on the banks. The financial firms can who can afford to pay these high bonuses, they can afford to pay back those who rescued them in their time of need. Read More

We hear Dick Cheney coming out every so often, complaining we aren't safe. Getting all the right wing nuts in an uproar. Then he goes on to say how we have to keep the terrorists out of our prisons and in prisons already provided.

The Haiti Earthquake...and Pat Robertson

P>We had a hurricane that everyone might remember "Katrina", that pretty much totalled the city of New Orleans. It took George W. Bush nearly 3 weeks to fly over that devastation. In less than 24 hours of the devastation in Haiti, we given them help.

Mr. Robertson, why would you, the founder of Operation Blessing International, use you very own business to collect money, for those in Haiti, you just bashed by saying they made a pact with the devil?

Harry Reid could save his job.......

Recently Senator Harry Reid has come under scrutiny for using the word "negro". Now the Republicans want Mr. Reid to resign.

Now since the U.S. land based casinos are already businesses, they wouldn't need a business license to collect tax info for the internet gamblers in the U.S. Yes no money would be collected from the U.S. government from the licenses. Look at it this way, the casinos, would be able to be up and running in an instant. Which would mean, we wouldn't have to wait 2 years or more until the first round of taxes would be collected. We would start to see the results almost immediately. In the current economic status, we need the money now.

Who loses? No one. The state of Nevada wins. The Vegas casinos win. The United States wins. The American people win. Read story...
